| I’m
having a situation with my Octaswitch with loud POP noise, I know that most cases of popping noises comes from the pedals not from the Octaswitch. |
The
situation is when you shift 2-3 pedals at the same time, which of cause
is the hole idea with the Octa, there can be a DC leak from some of the
pedals and in some cases the Amp's input, and it's these different DC
potentials from the different pedals that cause the POP noise. And the Octa being 100% true bypass there's no electronics to filter these pop noises. A solution can be to place a buffer or a pedal that has buffered bypass after the Octa, this way the Amp's DC leak is separated from the pedals DC leak. |
